Adoption Fee
Incoming animals often need a full physical exam, vaccinations, microchipping, treatment, diagnostic testing, and possibly spay or neuter surgery.
This small fee will pay for daily food, clean water, bedding, sanitation supplies, and housing space.
Charging a fee helps offset the sudden financial burden on the rescue and encourages pet owners to explore all retention or rehoming options before dropping off an animal.
The fee also helps cover the time it will take us to place the critter at an appropriate educational facility that is licensed by the state.
We choose to work with these types of places because they are regularly inspected, have readily available food sources, and have on-site vetting.
